Umziki Pan Lodge in HluhluweSo this Long Weekend , The #MartinFamdamily and Merrick Boys stayed at #UmzikiPan Lodge in #Hluhluwe. Umziki Pan is just 25 mins from the #HluhluweGameReserve .First contact or Impressions always set the tone , and dealing with the Lodge via Email and then the Owner via Phone , was Fantastic!

They were efficient ,gave you the lay of the land and hoped that you had a Super Weekend!



On arriving , we entered our Accommodation – an 8 sleeper (2 Double Bedrooms and 2 Single Bedrooms with 2 beds in each , 2 bathrooms).
The Accommodation is clean , well layout and has everything you need! Especially in the Kitchen … all sorted!
I would suggest a Bigger Braai , but we made do .Wood was delivered at R20.00 a bundle by the sweetest Old man (maybe get a pic of yourself paying him as he could not remember and we received an email from the Owners saying we hadn’t paid , we had paid and even given more )
The Accommodation was serviced and cleaned each day beautifully!
And there was NO TV! So we got to play board games and cards with the kids (which we took with).The Lodge has alot of buck and birds and is so peaceful . A large swimming pool with Bar Area and Small boma for a fire at night , to sit around , tell war stories of your day in the Park and enjoy a gin or 2!
I think Summer here with mates would be fantastic! There are other smaller Accommodation scattered around the Lodge …so a large group can be accommodated.

All we had to take was Food , Swimming Towels ,Charcoal and the rest was there!
I would so recommend #UmzikiPan ,especially as its so affordable , close to the Park and amenities like Spar , Garage and a few Take-Aways.
