Its a short drive from PMB into the Sugar Cane – On arrival we were met by families of Zebra that were super Friendly , so we got some Awesome Pics .
We arrived at the Lodge and were welcomed by Derek and Staff .The Lodge was already buzzing with families and the kids were whisked away on an Easter Hunt , then a Pony and Cart arrived for a trip around the lodge , which the kids loved!!

I can definately see that cart used for Weddings … Whether is bringing the Bride or All The Groom and his merry Men! The Gardens are just beautiful at Gwahumbe and any Wedding Photos would be picture Perfect.
Hubby and I were given delish GIN on Arrival , mine been Pink and fulled with Strawberries!It was such a gorgeous day and we were lucky to have a stunning table on the patio . I had seen the menu, and had decided what I would be having , only to be suprised that you could have all 3 main courses (Buffet Style)- So I had the Lamb Shank and Lemon Chicken and it was DELISH. My dad been a chef and cooking a good lamb shank , I was super impressed! I was mostly wanting the Apple Crumble and Ice-Cream , and it had a lemon flavour twist , which I had never tasted before! Well Done to the Pastry Chef.. was amazing and I had 2 helpings.I wanted to view some of the rooms and other lodge accommodation but the lodge was busy , so another time!
Gwahumbe has a few Accommodation Options and have heard for Weddings /Kitchen Teas /Stag Parties and Conferences its a WINNER !
I did get to peep into the SPA and it was so tranquil , so I will definately have to sneak a day with Hubby (NO KIDS) for a Day at the Spa with Kelly.My boys had a Super Day , JoeJoe even taking a dip in the pool. Hubby chilled on the Patio with another Gin or 2.If you looking for a Day out , weekend , Spa Treat , Conference or Wedding Venue , I highly recommend that you contactGwahumbe Game & Spa.

Thanks for having The Martins spend the day… we loved every minute , No need to cook dinner that night.. tummies were full and kids in bed early from a fun day of Activities !!
Oh and on leaving , we saw a Caracal run across the road which is such a rare sighting!
