Yesterday I took the 3 Boys to Butterflies4Africa in Pietermaritzburg .
The last time I had visited was about 2011/12 when Matt and Jack were little.

The Entrance is so reasonable – R35 kids and R50 Adults , Pigeon and Fish food is R5 a bag.
There was a lovely gentleman in the Butterfly Enclosure who can walk you around , and give you interesting info on the Butterflies , Stick Insects , fish and other creatures in the enclosure.My older 2 , even though they felt that maybe they were to ‘OLD” for this now, enjoyed themselves .
They got to touch the hedgehogs and feed the fish and doves.
For small kids its lovely – they walk around the little walk ways looking for the butterflies.
Please remember it is quite warm in there, so hot summer days wear cool clothing!
As you leave there is a lovely shop selling niks and naks and mostly Butterfly related . A coffee shop where you can enjoy a lovely Breakie or Lunch.The Staff are super friendly and helpful and definitely feel its a lovely outing for Moms and their small kids or the Grandparents.
Even just a nice outing for lunch.
